BowWOW Walks provides 30-minute and 60-minute dog walks in your neighborhood. If requested, I can drive the dog to a nearby trail or park; however, drive time will be part of the service time with the dog. After the walk, I provide photos and/or videos and a “report card” about how everything went (as necessary).
RATES
• $20 for a 30-minute walk
• $30 for a 60-minute walk
• Additional dogs from same address: +$5.00 per dog
• Walks on weekends and holidays (if available): +$10.00
• Walks outside of a 4-mile radius from home base in Pleasant Hill: +$10.00
Primary service area is a 4-mile radius around Pleasant Hill, CA. Additional charge for walks outside this area.
PAYMENT
• I accept cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. I do not accept checks or credit cards.
Payment due dates:
• Regularly scheduled weekly recurring walks: Due by the Sunday following that week of service. (i.e., once a week).
• Occasional or “as needed” walks: Due the same day of the walk by the end of the day.
• If no payment is received for service by the due date, no new walks will occur until payment is received.
HOLIDAYS
No walks will take place on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day. I will accept a walk on other holidays, if available.
VACATIONS/TIME OFF
BowWOW Walks will give no less than 30 days’ notice for days when service cannot be completed due to vacation, days off, or any other foreseeable reasons.
In the case of last-minute issues (such as sickness or emergencies), I reserve the right to cancel service as necessary. I will attempt to reschedule if possible.
BowWOW Walks reserves the right to employ an Independent Contractor to fulfill walks during vacations or other days off.
WEATHER
Walks will occur rain or shine but can be canceled because of severe weather (either rain/cold or heat) at the dog owner’s or at BowWOW Walks' discretion. Efforts will be made to perform the walks at the best time as far as weather is concerned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
(not weather-related)
• If given notice of cancellation by 9:00 a.m. the day of a scheduled service, there is no penalty, and nothing is due.
• If given notice of cancellation after 9:00 a.m. the day of scheduled service, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of the service fee.
• If not given any notice of cancellation (i.e., I arrive at your residence for the walk), the cancellation fee is 100% of the service fee.
• If cancellation fee applies, no new walks will occur until cancellation fee is received.
HOME ACCESS
Copies of your key can be kept with BowWOW Walks, or in a lockbox. However, I cannot be responsible for keys left in the lockbox or the lockbox itself. If the door is left unlocked for access or the instruction is to leave the door unlocked after returning the dog, BowWOW Walks is not responsible for the home.
